Do you know where your sage is from? Do you know the energy of those who farmed it or how it was cultivated? If we are truly looking to harness the cleansing benefits of our plant allies, these are the questions we need to know the answers to, otherwise who knows what energy we are bringing into, and burning, as part of sacred ritual. 

A 2 hour journey, this Smudging workshop is a passing on of sacred Indigenous teachings. Danielle, with permission as an adopted member of the Tsleil-Waututh nation, will explain to us how we can respect our plant allies, while maintaining our spiritual health, from harvest to burning.

The workshop begins with a sound meditation, as we cleanse the crystals and herbs cultivated for the creation of our smudge sticks. Danielle will then explain the process of harvesting, the spiritual significance of smudging, and guide us in choosing herbs to create our very own smudge sticks to take home with us. We will finish the session by adorning each of our smudge sticks with a crystal.
