Vinyasa
Vinyasa is taken from the root ‘vi’, which means special and ‘nyasa’ to place. In these classes we are moving and placing the body in a ‘special way’, that is, with the breath. Each pose builds on the next as we use the breath to move in sequence though a dynamic flow. Great for building strength, flexibility, focus and balance. This is a level 1 - 2 class and a dynamic practice so reasonable levels of fitness are recommended.
Align
Technical aspects are explored in greater depth as we focus on postural alignment within each asana (pose). Postures are held for longer in sequence as we connect with the more refined aspects of the pose. Props are often used to support students move towards the full expression. Great for those that want a further depth of knowledge of the asanas. A fun and challenging class so reasonable levels of fitness recommended. Levels 1 -2.
Slow Flow
Incorporating both Vinyasa and Align, this slower paced class is beneficial for those that like to work with a technical focus exploring each posture whilst moving meditatively with the breath. This is a wonderful practice for building strength, flexibility and concentration. Suitable for levels 1 and 2 with reasonable level of fitness is recommended.
Yin
Calm and yet challenging. Passive poses are held for durations of between 3 -10 minutes as we focus on the hard tissues of the body and promote the body’s natural healing responses. Stimulation of the 12 main meridian pathways occurs helping to unblock stagnant energy (chi) supporting healing physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically. Yin is a particularly mindful practice where we are encouraged to lean in to sensation and notice our reactions. Beneficial for increasing range of motion, calming the mind and building resilience. Suitable for all levels.

Meditation is a way to train the mind, calming down the unruliness and moving towards inner stillness - our natural state. There are many types of meditation, which will be explored in these classes.
Sound Healing
For ultimate relaxation and restoration, sound has been used in various cultures for centuries as a tool for emotional, mental and physical wellbeing.
